The International Hellenic University of Greece (IHU), based in Thessaloniki, according to Law No. 4610/2019 (Official Government Gazette of 70 the H.R.)/07-05-2019, was organized and operates as an higher institutes, consisting of the synergies of the International Hellenic University with the former Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (Technological Education Institute(s) of Thessaloniki), the former Technological Educational Institute of Central Macedonia (Technological Education Institute of Central Macedonia) and the former Technological Educational Institute of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace (Technological Education Institute of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace). It includes more than 40 established laboratories and offers more than 50 Postgraduate Programmes of Studies, some of which are inter-institutional or inter-departmental and 22 of which are offered in English. There are also numerous collaborations with universities and research centers in Greece and abroad and memoranda of understanding on cooperation, have been signed with academic and social institutions that strengthen its position both in the Greek higher education sector and the European one. The research activity of the institution is significant and with presence in all institutions, with particular emphasis on national and European funding frameworks. The International Hellenic University participates in the project through the Tourism and Services Management Research Laboratory "TourLab". The #TTB is structured on the expertise of the Laboratory in tourism development and tourism services management.
