Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, a non-profit-making urban organization, is the official tourism body of the city with the main mission:

 

  • ●The advertising and tourist promotion of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki in Greece and abroad
  • The formation of the tourism identity - Branding of Thessaloniki
  • The preparation and implementation of a strategic plan for the development of tourism in the Prefecture
  • The promotion and promotion of the strategic advantages of the region of Thessaloniki, in order to promote it as an important tourist, commercial, economic, cultural, cultural, religious, cruise destination, as well as a center for conference tourism and the organization of professional exhibitions.
  • The publication of information material such as maps, city guides, thematically targeted brochures promoting Thessaloniki and the design, implementation and promotion of new tourism products and services.
  • The support and coordination of actions for the enhancement of Thessaloniki as a tourist destination.

 

Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, as a partner in the project, will support the design and development of the #Thessaloniki_Tourism_Blockchain.

Having already taken many steps in promoting the city through its website, Thessaloniki Tourism Organization,will contribute its expertise and experience to the project. More specifically, it will contribute to documenting the vision and priorities of the city's tourism stakeholders, will be the facilitator for contact with main stakeholders of the city for the conclusion of the MoUs that will form the basis for digital services to the tourist and will promote the use of the #Thessaloniki_Tourism_Blockchain with a coordinated action plan.
